Oversight Committee (OC) Chairs: AUC / NEPAD Agency Members: African Countries, RECs, Key Stakeholder Organizations, Partner Institutions Core Management Team (CMT) Partner Institutions and RECs APDev Technical Support Team (Secretariat) APDev Discussion & Knowledge Sharing Forum

The Oversight Committee (OC) – Key Responsibilities Approve APDev programs proposed by Core Management Team (CMT) Endorse recommendations for consideration by chairing institutions Sign off on proposed budgets for submission to PRC Provide guidance to CMT Foster visibility of APDev at all member institutions

The Oversight Committee (OC) – Composition • Chairs: AU / NEPAD (senior management level) • Countries: 10 countries (cross-section of all regions, languages, and status (i.e. fragile states), • Membership on a rotational 2-yr basis • Regional bodies: RECs + APRM Secretariat • Key stakeholders: CD institutions, private sector, CSOs, • women associations, academia • Partners: UNDP, UNECA, WBI, AfDB, GIZ

The Core Management Team – Key Responsibilities • Day-to-day management of the platform • Development, fostering of and follow-up on APDev initiatives • Development of proposals to the OC • Development of a budget for sign-off by the OC and final approval by PRC • Facilitation of CMT and OC meetings

  7. The Core Management Team – Composition • Chairs: AU / NEPAD Agency (technical level) • Countries: Lead countries • Regional bodies: RECs + APRM Secretariat • Key stakeholders: CD institutions, CSOs • Partners: UNDP, UNECA, WBI, AfDB, GIZ

  8. The Technical Support Team– Key Responsibilities Secretariat function (administration and logistics) Coordination with regional and country-level actors) Communications (i.e. APDev online platform) Knowledge management

  9. The Technical Support Team – Composition • Administrative support • Knowledge management assistant (engages with stakeholders) • Online platform administrator • Facilitator of APDev KE activities (part time) • Budget officer (part time) • Subject matter specialists (part time support function)
