  2. My name is ThanhHuong . I am vietnameseand I have lived in Cracow since 2004 . At first I really wanted to come back to my country but then I found that Cracow is really a nice city and I want to stay here for a long time . Now I go to high school in KolegiumEuropejskie. I didthis presentation for my Geography lesson , some of my classmates are not from Cracow . I hope after watching my presentation they would know more about Cracow and like it.

  5. Cracow at a galance Cracow is the cultural capital andone of the oldest cities in Poland and was one of the few Polish cities to be saved from many wars which ravaged the country. Tourists have been interested in Cracow since 19th century. It was on UNESCO's first World Heritage List , publicized in 1978. Let’s take a journey back in time to see how Cracow has changed after centuries .

  9. The Main Square The largest market of medieval Europe – located in the centre of Old Cracow . In the Main Square you can find the street musicians, Town Hall Tower, St Adalbert’s Church, Church of St Mary, Statue of Adam Mickiewicz a famous Polish poet and the Cloth Hall where you can buy souvenirs , pictures , jewelery on the ground floor .

  12. Kościuszko Mound A artificial mound in the western part of Cracow – an amazing piramid in Cracow. At its foot there is the Chapel of St Bronisława which was built between 1856 – 1861 by Felix Księżarski. The Kościuszko Mound is open from 9 am to 8 or 10 pm .   13. Cracow ‘s festivals Cracow is not only a city for tourists who enjoy history . It is also a city of architecture, literature and painting. It is a city where old traditions are preserved . Below are some of Cracow’s important festivals . • Festival of Organ Music ( March – April ) • International Short Film Festival ( May-June ) – the oldest film festival in Poland • Wianki ( June ) – candle wreaths are set adrift on the Wisła by Wawel and fireworks light up the sky • International Festival of Jewish Culture ( July ) – one of the world ‘s largest festivals of Jewish culture • Summer Early Music Festival ( July ) • International Festival of Music in Old Cracow ( 15-31 August ) • Cracow Book Fair ( October ) – about culture events , meeting with authors, representative of the world of cultures , art and media . • Early Music Festival ( October – November )

The biggest Oceanarium in Poland with thousand fishy fellows is waiting for you. Enjoy shooting , bowling , paintball , horseriding ? Cracow is the best choice. Waterpark – best place for everyone ( from 6 to 100 years old ) There are many activities which you can do in Cracow and in the neighborhood of the city.
