Way partnerships are important • We can’t always do it by ourselves! • To benefit your research • opportunities to apply research to real-world situations and create “impact” • Funders require it • increase access to research and development funding • Creates additional income streams for the institution • Improve student/graduate employability • giving opportunities to work with employers through projects, placements and case studies
