Reaching Academics • How should RGAs be communicating with academics? • What should be the key messages that RGAs convey in doing so? • Are there any local or national mechanisms – such as Quality Assessment procedures, staff development opportunities, etc that could provide levers for RGA attempts at outreach? • How can these complement rather than confuse local attempts to influence academics’ use of electronic resources and services?

Training Current activities include institutional workshops, national “road show” events, presentations at seminars & conferences (generic & subject specific), production of training materials • Are there any other forms of training that RGAs should be undertaking? • What should the priorities be? • How can RGAs ensure they are complementing institutional training efforts? • How are training materials best delivered – web, print or other formats?
