  1. Resolve Protection Disabled error on Trend Micro Security program Users may have come cross ‘Protection Disabled’ error while using the antivirus. It occurs due to three reasons. The first one is that the subscription license does not include the device anymore. Second could be that there is another software installed in your computer which is hampering the antivirus functions. Third reason is related to the Potentially Unwanted Applications (or PUA) or malware, or the fourth one could be the download failure or unsuccessful install updates.
