Fishing Restrictions. By: Alexis and Kyle. Introduction. -Fishing Restrictions are rules that people have to follow in order to be able to fish. - If they don’t follow these rules they could get there license took away from them for a period of time. Or they could get banned from fishing.

Introduction -Fishing Restrictions are rules that people have to follow in order to be able to fish - If they don’t follow these rules they could get there license took away from them for a period of time. Or they could get banned from fishing - You could also get a fine of $2500 for illegal fishing

  3. Fishing Limits This is how many of each type of fish you can catch a day Trout 2 Perch 25 Arctic Grayling 3 Jackfish 3 Pickerel 6

  4. illegal acts of fishing -Using explosives in fishing waters -Fishing while using someone else’s license -Catching more fish than the the limit -Fishing in private or restricted waters - illegal purchase or sale of fish

  5. Gear restrictions - fisherman are only allowed to use one line at a line - a line can only have one barbless hook - It is illegal to use lead fishing sinkers or jigs in Canada’s national and wildlife parks

  6. Licenses Resident-$33.35 Nonresident-$89.50 Duplicate-$6.85 Ten-Day Nonresident-$33.35 Two-Day Resident/Nonresident- $16.80 One-Day Resident/Nonresident- $10.75 Bay-Delta Fishing Sport- $5.25 Salmon Punch Report card- $1.60 These are some of the prices of the licenses you need to have to catch fish legally.

How pollution affects fish and there habitat -Pollution destroys fish and there habitat when people dump hazardous things in lakes and oceans -Things like oil or litter are dumped in lake’s and oceans -People do this because they don’t have anywhere to put there litter or because they are to lazy to do anything about it - Every year water pollution goes up by 15 %

  8. How we can prevent water pollution - stop littering in water -Stop dumping hazardous wastes in the water -Not using motor boats - not throwing things in street drains

  9. Facts - There is about 80 types of fish in Saskatchewan - Some fish weigh up to 25 kg - There are three communities that fish live in, cold water, average water and warm water -The pelvic fins of a fish help them steer
