Report Generation • Data in HTMLDB/Apex is defined by Data Providers (DPs) • EMS resolves raw data into product and user information using DP-provided metadata • Product • User • Search Terms • Analysts generate reports using resolved data • Currently reports are generated using EDGRS and EMS data until all DPs are migrated to EMS • Excel provides a powerful mechanism to create custom reports

Sample Reports… • Weekly Summary, September 9-15, 2007 Archive Growth (TB): This week = 10.4; Change from last week = -0.4; Change from 6-month weekly avg. = -0.2 Total Distribution (TB): This week = 35.9 Distribution to Users (TB): This week = 29.3; Change from last week =-0.1; Change from 6-month weekly avg. = 3.3 Details:        http://romulus.gsfc.nasa.gov/edgrs/weekly/curr_wk.pdf Notes: The decrease in the archive volume is mainly attributed to the decrease in the MODAPS archive volume. The decrease in distribution volume is mainly attributed to the decrease in EDC distribution to end users.
