  2. Blocking • Movement on stage • How you move, sit, get around • Sometimes based on stage directions • Always character appropriate (character analysis!)

  3. Stage Positions • Full Front – facing the audience • Half Front – facing the opposite side of the stage • Quarter Turn – halfway between full and half front • Three Quarter Turn – facing mostly away from the audience

  5. Floor Plan • Overhead view of stage • Suggestions of furniture and scenery • Creates an idea of space and flow to help create blocking
