  11. Day 1 • Arrivals and check-in • Depending on flight timings Valletta afternoon excursion or activity • Welcome Dinner in St Julian’s at Barracuda Restaurant or in the hotel

  12. ARRIVALS Colours of Malta representatives will welcome the delegates at the airport and lead them to a private coach. Our fully licensed Spanish - speaking guide will greet the delegates and give them a brief explanation of the history of Malta on the way to the hotel. Arrival at the hotel and check in of the delegates. A welcome drink will be offered to the delegates on the terrace of the hotel.

Option 2 - Welcomedinner in St Julians Barracuda Restaurant, St Julians Overlooking Balluta and Spinola Bays, you will be seated in what was once a drawing room of an early XVIII century Maltese residential villa in which to this day still holds the charm and decor of that era. The Barracuda menu amongst other items, offers a variety of Mediterranean fish and shellfish specialities .

  15. Day 2 • Visit – Valletta , Malta’s Capital City • Lunch in Valletta • Afternoon at Leisure in the city • Traditional Maltese Dinner

  16. Option 1 - Activity – ½ day Walkingtreasurehunt in Valletta – The Capital City Transfer by 36 -seater private coaches to Valletta. Discover Valletta, the hub of the Knights, while learning interesting facts about the city – but all in a different manner – through our Valletta walking treasure hunt. Guests will be given a briefing prior to entering the city. We will supply them with a riddle book, a map with all the necessary information and stationery. The guests will have to solve riddles to get to locations and answer a number of questions. The group should be split into teams. Optional Spice the event up by using digital cameras! Each team will be supplied with a camera (10 photos) and they will be required to take a number of photos throughout the hunt. These photos will carry a number of points too and may require teams to do funny poses or take pictures as proof of arrival to certain locations.

  17. Option 2 - Valletta Sightseeing – ½ day ‘The city built by gentlemen, for gentlemen.’ 09:00 Transfer to Valletta by 30 seater deluxe coach. A small guided tour will take place in Valletta where guests may view at first hand the majestic capital city, places of interest include the infamous St.John’s Cathedral N.B The Cathedral closes everyday at 4pm, at 12pm on Saturdays and closed all day on Sundays

  19. Lunch at Trabuxu Bistro Trabuxu Bistro , located on South Street, has been in the owner’s family since 1842. It started life as a music shop, and was later turned it into a lounge bar, popular for its delicious snacks and live music.Now a restaurant serving a delectable selection of dishes in chic surroundings. Everything on offer is homemade and the emphasis is on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu includes soups, salads, stews, pasta and meats, as well as a lovely deli counter and daily specialities.

  20. Afternoon- free time for shopping After lunch, free time given to the guests for them to walk through the city as they please. Given that Valletta is one of Malta’s main shopping hubs, guests can take the time do some holiday shopping whilst in the city.

Option 2 - DINNER TypicalMalteseDinner at Razzett L’Antik in Qormi Transfer by private Coach to the Razzett L-Antik An old typical Maltese farm old of a 300-year history where the guests could taste typical products of the island like the olive oil, bread and wine. Situated in the medieval baker's village of Casal Curmi il-Fornaro (today Hal-Qormi), Razzett L-Antik is dedicated to 1000 years of Maltese food and culinary heritage specialising in the tasteful art of slow food farmhouse cooking, with an entertaining style of service that promotes Maltese traditions. The main building itself was once a milling factory to grind grain to flour for the daily bread and is over 400 years old. The group will have a typical maltese dinner during which a folklore duo will entertain them throughout the evening (optional).

  24. How to get to Gozo? Transfer options to Gozo: Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing how to get to Gozo. A transfer by ferry entails a transfer by coach to the Northest part of the island, this normally takes up to 45mins. Guest then board the ferry which takes 20 mins to cross over to the sister island of Gozo. Another option, would be by catamaran/ or schooner. This type of transfer reduces tedious transfers by coach and allows guests to board the vessel from the hotel jetty. This kind of transfer takes up to 1 ½ hours of relaxation & cruising to Gozo. For guests who do not wish to waste any time, a speedboat transfer may be organised from the hotel’s jetty. This kind of transfer takes up to 20 – 30 mins (this also depends on hotel chosen and ease of access to the jetty)

  25. 1. Gozo Jeep Safari Once guests arrive in Gozo, they will board on jeeps and go on a convoy tour. Guests may either opt to drive jeeps themselves or opt for a chauffeur. Places of interest during the jeep convoy is the infamous blue window, the citadel, salt pans, calypso cave, amongst other breath taking places worth visiting! Just relax and enjoy the scenery…..

  26. 2. The Gozitan life experience This event combines Teamwork, Creativity, Interaction with the locals and the challenge of exploring the island of Gozo. Each team will be given a riddle book, a map of Gozo, and a Digital Photo Camera. Each team will also get jeeps for the day which they have to drive themselves to make their way around Gozo. Prior to the start of the event, the group will be given a briefing by our coordinators explaining the aim of the game as well as a safety briefing to help them navigate through the streets of Gozo. Besides answering questions, taking photos and interacting with the locals , teams have to complete different challenges in different locations to gain bonus points for their team. At the final meeting point, our judges will assess the performance of each team and the one with most points collected within the allotted time limit will be declared as the winner.

  27. Challenges: Maltese Folk Dance Challenge: The teams will arrive at this location and they are greeted by 6 Folk Dancers dressed in traditional costumes. After a demonstration our participants will meet a choreographer and with the help of the dancers they have to learn a 1 minute choreographed dance to the beat of a typical Maltese song. Each member of the team will learn different footwork and a unique way of holding their teammates. Maltese Delicacies Challenge: Are you ready to put your taste buds to the test. At this location will meet our chefs who will brief them on the task ahead. The team has to be able to guess the main ingredients of a Traditional Maltese food item they would have just placed in their mouths. But wait a minute; participants will have to do this tasting challenge blindfolded. This means that they can only rely on their sense of taste to get as close as possible to name the ingredients present in the item. At the Baker: We are about to test your creativity and imagination! Teams will be entering an old traditional bakery with a wood burning oven. Participants will be given measured dough and their task is to bake this dough in the shape of their choice. At the end of the activity our coordinators will give extra points for the most creative piece of art work!

DINNER The Medina restaurant in Mdina On arrival by coach, group will meet at Mdina gate where our English-speaking guide (guide optional) will accompany the group for a short guided visit of the city, which will finish at the bastions with a cocktail served exclusively to the guests at the bastions of the Silent City before having dinner at The Medina restaurant. The Medina is charmingly set in an old townhouse. The restaurant has a large internal courtyard ideal for dining alfresco in the summer months. The inside has been converted most effectively, without losing the character of the building. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel by private coach.

  37. Day 4 • Breakfast • Check out • Excursion – Three Historical Cities • Lunch in Vittoriosa Departures

The 3 cities and Harbour Cruise 10.30 - Guests will board the traditional Maltese boat called the’luzzu’ from the hotel’s jetty(if hotel does not have a jetty guests will be transferred to the closest one) Guests will then board the ‘Luzzu’ and cruise round the majestic grand harbour, passing by all 3 cities and Valletta the capital city, and finally berthing in front of the restaurant for their dinner. Two and a half lemon is located in Birgu, one of the three cities.

  39. Excursion The Three Cities can rightly claim to be the cradle of Maltese history, as Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua have provided a home and fortress to almost every people who settled on the Islands, and was the first settlement of the Knights of St.Johns order.

Lunch at Two and a half lemon Restaurant in Vittoriosa Located in Vittoriosa (Birgu) waterfront (1 of the 3 cities) (If guests do not wish a boat transfer , a coach transfer can be organised instead) After guests have gone round on a harbour cruise they will make their way to the restaurant Two and a half lemon is the perfect mix of fifteen century features combined with the mélange of tradition and contemporary design. The ideal place for local flair, cuisine or just Marina front chilling.   The restaurant is situated on the Vittoriosa Marina offering spectacular views of Valletta, Senglea and is situated within the old 16th century Knights Treasury. The inside has been designed using the typical Maltese tiles and a mélange of Phillipe Starke chairs combined with a contemporary look. The tailor made lampshades each depicting different scenery seen on the Maltese Islands and outside terrace has the feeling of the old meets new with a mixture of furniture and the tiles which have been carefully planned and designed.NB: The restaurant will not be exclusive for the group, however an area will be reserved just for them.

  41. Departures Check out and luggage identification at the hotel. Transfer of the group to Malta International Airport, Luqa 2 hours before the flight time. Departure of the group.
