  6. GAIA-series Key Benefit Parallel Redundancy : 1+1 (Only) for capacity expansion or redundancy purpose Common Battery Application: Two UPS can use the same battery pack to save the cost of installation. But of course, the runtime would be shorter. It depends on the application of site. High Efficiency And Low iTHD : pf > 0.99 and iTHD < 5%. High efficiency will save the operation cost (Energy Saving). Low iTHD will not pollute the upstream power. Wide Input Voltage Range 100~280Vac, High Voltage Protection Up To 330Vac: (For 100~155Vac, it depends on the loading condition). It makes UPS can withstand severe power condition. Therefore reducing the chance of battery discharging caused by power fluctuation or transient. Thus extend the lifecycle of battery.

  7. New R-series Key Benefit (continue ) Standard Charger(4A) And Optional Charger(4A) : High charging ability and extra charger can be implemented and built-in UPS (Total 8A) for the application of particular runtime. Smart Interfaces : There are two smart interfaces : SNMP and Smart slots Delta provides different smart cards with powerful function makes UPS become a value-added power protection for customer: For SNMP Slot : SNMP Card, Modbus Card, Relay I/O Card, Environmental Box, SNMP With 5 Ports Hub For Smart Slot : Mini SNMP, Mini Relay I/O, Mini USB, TVSS cards. High Power Density: 5 or 7 KVA capacity in only 2U height. 11KVA in 3U height. Less space needed and therefore save the precious space of server cabinet. Optional Battery Pack : For longer runtime application. 5-7KVA: 2U, 11KVA: 3U

  12. Maintenance Bypass Box For GAIA Series

  13. Maintenance Bypass Box - Models MBB-S: For 5~11 kVA Maintenance bypass when single UPS is installed. MBB-P: For 5~11 kVA Maintenance bypass when two UPSs are in parallel link.

  14. MBB-S Outlook • Dimension (WxDxH): 440 x 135 x 88 mm • 2U height. • Bypass transfer switch. Top View Rear View

  15. MBB-P Outlook • Dimension (WxDxH): 440 x 195 x 131 mm • 3U height. • Use breaker to be the switch. Top View Rear View

  19. MBB-S Connection(2) Connect to Line & Load

  20. MBB-P Connection(1) UPS Input & Output

  21. MBB-P Connection(2) Connect to Line & Load

  22. MBB-P Connection(3) Example of Complete Installation Battery Cabinets Battery Cabinets UPS2 UPS1 MBB-P

  23. Why we change MBB types ? • Too many models for old MBB accessory (3 types). • Old solution for parallel function: • cabinet is the same depth as UPS. • Waste space and cost. • TUV certificated for new models.
