Youth Ministry Purpose • Worship: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” • Ministry: “Love your neighbor as yourself” • Evangelism: “Go and make disciples” • Fellowship: “Baptizing them” • Discipleship: “Teaching them to obey” • Matthew 22:37-40 Great Commandment • Matthew 28:19-20 Great Commission

  3. Mission Statement • The basic mission of the youth ministry is to develop activities and services that will enhance biblical growth and development of young people in the church and community. The programs are based on an annual cycle of planned services. The activities and services are performed under four areas: Educational, Spiritual, Traditional, Special Projects and Events.

  4. Goal • The goal of the youth ministry is to expose all students to God’s love, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge the growing to discover their ministry and honor God with their lives.

  5. Existing Ministries • Youth Church – 3rd 4th and 5th Sunday’s • Rites of Passage – (Teens) 2nd and 4th Thursday’s • Teen Bible Study – 1st and 3rd Thursday’s • King’s Kids Bible Study – Pre-K through 8th grade, Wednesday • Youth Revival – Second week in June • Youth Retreat – September

  6. Existing Ministries • Kicking for Christ – (Karate) Boys and Girls all ages, Monday • Jam Outreach – (P.B.U.) May • Exodus Event – OCTOBER, alternative to trick or treat • Youth Council – 2nd and 4th Wednesday • Bless the Child-Care Service (Babysitting service)

  12. The children’s ministry team recognizes that our team members are the foundation of a successful ministry with the children. They are the hands and feet that will carry the love of Christ to the children at Shiloh. In serving we want our team members to use their gifts, to grow, mature and effectively minister to the children they are serving.
