  1. IOLP/WWO Final Submission Improvements - Complete to the required standards the IOLP And WWO skills documentation

  2. Key Points Despite detailed feedback being given most folders are not to the standard that is needed. You have today’s lesson and Friday’s tutor time to get this work done. Any that are not will result in you working with me at Painsley until they are. I will collect all the folders in on Monday morning and red slips will issued immediately if they are not brought in.

  3. What needs doing? PDR sheets are to be fully completed; For IOLP the skill development must be specific and related to the targets; for WWO you must make sure there is a specific role identified to you and you must evidence this Action Plan; You must have an action plan of what you are going to do and when to go with you PDR sheets Activity Log; These must be completed for all skills and your recoding must relate back to your specific targets and progress towards them

  4. Evidence; You must have a substantial amount of evidence for each skill and it must be annotated to show how it evidences progress towards a target. For WWO your evidence must show what you have done for your specific responsibility. Peer and witness statements are also vital for all skills and for WWO you must write peer statements about how the other people in your group have contributed/used their skills/completed their responsibility and how they could improve. There should be meeting minutes for your WWO skill.

  5. Inside a Pile of Evidence Then organise the rest of your evidence Diary or log of activity Planning sheets, research notes, first draft, rough work Pages that show you have been thinking about the skills you are using e.g. WO what role did you play in a group meeting? Chairperson? Note taker? Time keeper? And of course, a final outcome

  6. Next Steps In silence you are to complete the amendments to your folders. If you need to speak to someone else ask me first. Ask if there is any clarification needed – there will be no more excuses accepted. Any completed files can be handed in at any point before Monday.
