  1. How to Draw Mickey Mouse Teach It! By Shelley Phillips

  2. Step 1 • Have your paper landscape. Draw a circle just below the center of the paper. Draw a line vertically directly through the center and horizontally 2/3 down the circle.

  3. Step 2 • Draw the eyes and the nose. Underneath the horizontal guideline draw a horizontal oval, this will be the nose. On top of the horizontal line draw two identical vertical ovals, these are the eyes. Then draw two smaller ovals inside that to create the pupils.

  4. Step 3 • Touching your pencil to the vertical guideline at the top, draw a heart shape to frame his face, draw this heart within the circle staying close to the circle edge then stop as you get level with the nose. From here draw cheeks outside the circle and bring them down to form a chin. Draw a curved line directly underneath his eyes.

  5. Step 4 • The ears! Mickey’s ears aren’t circles they’re ovals. Draw two ovals either side of his head, smaller then the size of his head.

  6. Step 5 • Rub out all guidelines, and you will see the bottom of the original circle becomes mickeys mouth, below the mouth line draw a small oval to act as his mouth and tongue. Also add small lines to the corner of the circle, acting like dimples.

  7. Step 6 • Start to colour in Mickey, this will give you a better idea of the features you have drawn.

  8. The End • And here's the final drawing!
