Technology. By: I srael Campos 2 pd Mr. Ochoa . School relative . When teenagers’ play games or use other sources of technology, sometimes they get carried away and postpone their homework time or end up not finishing it. Which will have a negative effect in the child grade in school.

  2. School relative • When teenagers’ play games or use other sources of technology, sometimes they get carried away and postpone their homework time or end up not finishing it. Which will have a negative effect in the child grade in school.

  3. Accidents • An example of this was in 2008, a 15 year old boy by the name of Brandon Crisp ran away from home and later died, after his parents took away his Xbox 360 because he would skip school and play Call of Duty 4 all day, resulting in homework not being finished. This shows that an addiction in technology could actually affect a teenager emotionally and in the worst case lead up to death.

  4. Continue • With the great use of technology, teens are easily distracted and can be very dangerous. It is proven that seven out of ten car accidents by teenagers the use of a cell-phone was involve. As they get out of focus by technology and not pay attention to the road.

  5. Social effects • Since technology is used for mostly everything, teenagers start to create a social barrier between each other. Because, they find out an easier way in how to interact such as Facebook, MSN, and Skype they’re less likely on to prefer to go out and socialize with people.

  6. continue • When using a social media to communicate with another person you may not be talking to who ever he or she is. The internet its not safe for teenagers they are the easiest one to fall for the spams of the bad people.

  7. Health • Technology has made life so easy. However; it has made teenagers lazier to the point of staying all day at home. They are becoming lazier than ever.

  8. Continue • After time the use of a technology source such as the computer may result in creating a more impacting health issue such as obesity, lost of vision, and sleeping disorder.

  9. Conclusion • Technology negatively impacts teenagers’ lives. With the new technological devices teenagers are easily distracted which interferes with their studies. Technology has influenced teenagers to socialize on the internet rather than socializing in person which creates a social barrier between teenagers. With the release of new technological devices, it makes teenagers lazy and increases the chances of acquiring health problems. New technologies are being created every day but that only mean more negative aspects of technology are increasing.
