  1. viernes el 4 de noviembre2011 ExamenEscribir: Las vacaciones WALT: to develop writing skills for the final exam WILF: to examine the AQA GCSE writing marking scheme in order to assess writing controlled conditions examples and to develop them by aiming to focus on your content and the range and accuracy of your work in order to work towards at least 6-7 marks for these areas to therefore reach a C grade +. Extra targets: To self and peer assess each others work , looking at marks and grades and working out how to improve your Spanish further!

B / A* Grade: (As above…and ) Other people’s opinions, comparatives, idioms, complex sentences and long paragraphs, 4-5 different tenses to achieve up to grade A* (Higher tier paper)

  9. How can I improve my work?(Self and Peer assessment) Mark the controlled conditions in front of you, using the marking criteria on content, range and accuracy. Remember take notes as you will have to justify your marks!!!!!

  10. How can I improve my work?(Re-draft)? Now you understand the marking criteria more, try to re-draft your own work. ( You will only have 20 minutes so you should aim to re-draft around only half of your word limit.) Remember use the self assessment checklist and marking criteria as you do this and be prepared to feedback after.

  11. How can I improve my work?(Self and Peer assessment) Now mark the controlled conditions that you had in front of you again, using the marking criteria on content, range and accuracy and see how it has improved. Remember take notes as you will have to justify your marks!!!!!

  12. Self Evaluation: “write it on a post it” • Write a suggestion as to which area of the marking criteria you feel unsure about and would like to revisit for revision. • Make notes of 2 starsand 1 wish.

  13. Extra: Now do the same for your speaking assessment on health!! • Refer back to the GCSE assessment guide on zimflex. • Follow the same instructions on this power point but for Speaking / Health. • If all up to date see me for extra Grammar work.

  14. Deberes / Homework:Complete full re-draft of essay / Speaking in preparation for a mock exam next week.
