PnP and Lay Formation: Theology of the Crumbs The Scripture Passages have inspired the Theology of the Crumbs, the underlying principles for all its activities and undertakings. • A prophetic indictment of the affluent and numb system that build a chasm of alienation • A prophetic proclamation of the crumbs that are the very ingredients of a miracle and experience of the feast of the Kingdom • How little it takes for a good habit of sharing to bring us to heaven
PnP and Lay Formation PnP is a simple development scheme based on Gospel teachings on sharing. • Do little steps as small crumbs that help to develop the character of the Filipino. • Practice daily acts of goodness or kindness in a society strongly attracted by individualism and self-interest. • Master self-mastery through interior discipline following Jesus’ command: “If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself, take up his daily cross and follow me.” (Lk 9:23)
PnP and Lay Formation • Capacity Building for Diocesan Desk: Certification Course under the guidance of Asian Social Institute completed • From National Secretariat to National Office: synergize existing member-diocese and manage the expansion of diocesan membership • Program Development Office: setting up to strengthen catechesis and value formation • Hosting this month the networking of Church-based Micro-Finance Institutes
