  2. As average human beings we may not have the budget to have a daily schedule with a dermatologist and for treatment procedure but as they say technology can do wonders. As of today many celebrities and women are trying a particular treatment that can treat acne scars, wrinkles and even uneven skin tone without using chemicals and laser that are mostly harmful for the skin.

  3. Microneedling treatment or originally known as collagen induction therapy or percutaneous collagen induction, is an aesthetic procedure that involves puncturing of the skin repeatedly with the use of tiny sterile needles. As the needles punctuate the skin it will create a controlled skin injury, which will trigger the body in filling the wounds by means of collagen production. As an end result, it can reduce all kinds of scar, minimize pore size and stretch marks.

  4. •8 hours after the treatment, patients who undergo Microneedling are not allowed to use unnecessary skin products that are not design for Microneedling such as makeup, sunscreen and moisturizers. These are not allowed because in this treatment it can boost skin absorption for any product that will be placed in the skin. That is why topical and toxic skin products are big NO! Proven to be effective, patients should still follow some important instructions after they undergo the treatment.

  5. •Patients should avoid direct sunlight after they have the procedure. If a 0.5mm needle is used on their face they should avoid the direct sunlight within 24 hours but if longer needles are use ranging from 0.75 to 1.0mm it is vital that they avoid direct sunlight in the span of 14 days.

  6. •Redness on the areas where the needle passes due to inflammation from the induction of collagen, although the redness will last or 2 days. •Dryness of skin because the Microneedling process blocks the skin moisturizing barriers. •With some rare instances, bruising, selling and the forming of small pustules is taking place after the treatment, which should be consulted to their doctor These instructions should be strictly followed to minimize any risk of side effects.
