  2. What is STEM Education? STEM Education: • integrates science, engineering, technology and mathematics • focus on • the application of knowledge to real-life problem solving • development of new products or procedures • benefiting daily living and livelihood.

  3. Vision and Objectives Vision: • To drive STEM Education in Thailand with a view to enhancing the competitiveness of the human resources in Science, Mathematics and Technology in the international arena.

  4. Vision and Objectives Mission: • To create public awareness of the importance of STEM Education. • To promote and develop STEM education networks at national and international levels. • To promote cooperation among the public sector, the private sector and the communities in supporting the local STEM education efforts. • To recognize STEM talents by their induction into the STEM Hall of Fame or appointment as STEM Ambassadors. • To promote and develop database systems, learning resources, and learning media on digital platforms (iSTEM).

Strategies • School and national assessment aligning with STEM education principles and objectives. • Classroom and external STEM activities encouraging analytical thinking and real-life problem solving. • Teachers professional development with professional guidance by STEM Ambassadors. • Inclusiveness of all sectors in STEM education.
