Soorten talen • Officiële taal= Het Modern standaard Arabisch (M.S.A) • Scholen, TV- en radiozenders, formele toespraken, communicatie met Arabische buurlanden • Dialecten= - het Marokkaans-Arabisch: Darija (Franseen Spaanse beïnvloeding) - het Berbers (30 à 40%) : oorspronkelijke taal (‘barbari’) • Het Frans en het Spaans (1912-1956: protectoraat)
