Plan Update – 3/31/18 Employees’ Retirement System • Assets: $4 billion • Participants: Active – 3,960 ERS – 2,038 GRIP (cash balance) Retired – 6,393 Funded Status – 95% Retirement Savings Plan • Assets: $436 million • Participants: Active & Inactive – 4,584 Deferred Compensation Plan • Assets: $405 million • Participants: Active & Inactive – 3,400 Retiree Health Benefits Trust • Assets: $921 million

Financial Planning & Reviews • Personal financial planning and investment reviews are provided to RSP, DCP, and GRIP participants as follows: • Cambridge Investment Research: 2-hour sessions to assist you in constructing a diversified portfolio to best meet your retirement savings goals. (RSP & DCP only) • Fidelity Investments: 1-hour sessions to provide an overview of account balance, asset allocation, investment options and Fidelity.com planning tools.   9. Retirement Seminars - retirees • The Social Security Administration (SSA) will be conducting onsite quarterly seminars in 2018. A SSA representative will provide employees and retirees with information about Social Security, Medicare and their online services and will be available to answer questions. • The seminars will be held in the EOB Lobby Level Conference Room from 3:00pm – 5:00pm on the following dates: • Thursday, June 28, 2018 • Wednesday, August 15, 2018 • Tuesday, November 13, 2018 • To register for the seminar, please use the link below.
