  2. The Plan • Find the errors • Identify what’s wrong (in 252 vocabulary & concept) • Then fix the errors – preserving the authors original intent as much as possible.

  3. Proofing Error (I’ll do this one) • As I read the article by Julia P. Stanley on Homosexual Slang, a lot of things came as a surprise, however something’s were familiar because of my relationship with homosexual peers. #2: Explain it in 252 Vocab:Possessive morphemeinstead of plural #3: Fix it:some things #1: Find the Error

  17. MYTH: Always write in complete sentences. • You might wince at the use of fragments as a literary device, but it can be done well. Really.

  18. MYTH: Never begin a sentence with a conjunction. • And why is that a rule? It isn’t. The device can be overused, sure. But it should not be banned.
