  2. dEHP at KSU: A Snapshot • Enrollment: 375 • 60% come part-time, 40% come full-time • Honors experience: • Students may choose to take college honors classes or regular classes • College savings: • Generous state funding covers 100% of tuition • Funding is not needs-based and doesn’t tap HOPE

  3. dEHP at KSU: A Snapshot • Outcomes: • Avg. student last year finished 6 college courses with 3.45 GPA. • 28% earned 4.0 • Credits transfer with students to other schools, including: • 47 students now enrolled in UGA • 14 at Georgia Tech • others at 43 other colleges including Vanderbilt, St. John’s, Juilliard, and MIT.

  4. Typical Coursework Fall semester: • Composition I (ENGL 1101) • American Government (POLS 1101) • Science (Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science or Earth Science) • Math (Algebra, Trig, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I,II or III, Statistics)

  8. Admission Requirements • GPA: • 3.0 GPA in core academic classes (not electives) • SAT/ACT: • Combined score of 1100 on SAT Critical Reading and Math sections (ACT 24) • Minimum Critical Reading score: 530 (ACT 23) • Minimum Math score: 530 (ACT 22)

  10. So what do I need to do now? • First: Prepare and register for the SAT or ACT testing date • We recommend both tests! • Test early and often! • Select KSU as school to receive scores • Second: Go to www.kennesaw.edu/dehp for application and more info.

  11. Admissions TIMETABLE FINAL DEADLINE for receipt of all documents: January 15, 2015 • Track your admissions status online at www.kennesaw.edu/admissions • Allow 3-5 weeks after receipt of all your documents for an admissions decision.

  12. All students who meet the admissions requirements AND whose documents are received BEFORE the January 15, 2015 deadline will be accepted!
