Web CM solutions help companies maintain and manage Web sites, allowing IT, Web developers, & business users to add or modify content in a secure, controlled way. Content contributors can update Web content without compromising Web site quality. CM manages the acquisition, control, assembly, publishing, and security of information that is available over a company's intranet/extranet.Managing Web Sites The increasing content velocity of Web sites (both the amount of information published and the frequency with which it changes) has forced organizations to find ways to eliminate the Webmaster bottleneck.     According to a recent report from the META Group, a leading technology consulting and research firm, the content management market will grow to $10 billion by 2004. Web content management is critically important. Dynamic web server market will grow from $1.6 to $10 Billion by 2003. Sue Aldrich of the Patricia Seybold Group said, If your Web site isnt getting simpler, your tools have to make it seem simpler. When the number of contributors to your Web site exceeds a dozen, rollouts will slow down, and errors will pick up. Dont delude yourself with plans for being more careful next time.You need Web content management.
