I am the Olympian God of War that was represented in the Iliad. My friends never trust me but I have no clue why….I have a son named Cycnus of Macedonia (he is quite the murderous child) and Heracles slaughtered him right before I took wrath. I enjoy being with Aphrodite but not when others are around as well! It’s usually at this point when people mention how much they enjoy long walks on the beach but I can honestly say I’d rather start a few fights and end them in a violent manner than anything else!!!

Not only did my people the Spartans obey my commands to start another war but I didn’t have to do the dishes either!!! I made Hephaestus do it because he’s married to the woman that I love and he just gives me the creeps. Someday I’ll think of some way to get back at him…. Saturday May 14, 1200 B.C. So I asked my sister Athena for help… she’s pretty smart! She told me that if Hephaestus loved someone more than Aphrodite (you’d have to be out of your mind not to… then again I think he is) then I might just have a chance!

With a little more help from Athena a brilliant idea has struck me! I will ask my dear friend Pygmalion to make a sculpture more beautiful than Aphrodite and then I’ll bring it to life and tempt Hephaestus with her… how can he resist? Tuesday May 17, 1200 B.C. Wait to go Aphrodite. It turns out that anything more beautiful than her is impossible to fall in love with and Pygmalion is only man…. When my dearly beloved heard him crying out because she wasn’t real she brought her to life and now Pygmalion is in the position I wanted Hephaestus in! Today is not my day is it?

I am going to try getting Hephaestus to give me Aphrodite by trading him a very large amount of coconut cream pie! I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like coconut cream pie… one of my wars was even settled with one of these delicious desserts! Thursday May 19, 1200 B.C. I found out the hard way that he is indeed allergic to coconut… mark my words Hephaestus… you have NOT seen the last of me and neither have the people who follow my blog!
