  1. How To Choose The Perfect Color Scheme For Your Space: Cool And Hybrid In a previous article, we discussed how we benefit from colors when it comes to designing our homes. Cool colors like Classic Blue (Color of the Year for 2020) can be calming and fuse focus and relaxation in the space. Cool colors are best in private rooms where concentration, calmness and rest are most important such as the bedroom, office and definitely nursery. In LED lighting kits, because it’s in color temperature and measured in the Kelvin scale, it’s the other way around. Warm White color is the calming type giving off a glowy, yellowy light while Cool White resembles the type of light the daylight provides. Hence, if you’re using warm colors then you need to use Cool White LED lights. On the other hand, if you prefer cool colors in your interior design, we suggest it’s best to choose Warm White LED lights. There are also other important points to consider when choosing the color temperature in lighting your space e.g. climate in your area.

  2. But aside from warm and cool colors there is also a Hybrid category of colors. For example, green and purple are hybrid colors. They can be warmer or cooler just depending upon their mix. And you can see that lime green which has a lot of yellow in it tends to be warm whereas turquoise which has more blue tends to run a little cooler. Black and white actually are not proper colors but they do have a warm and cool property scientifically speaking. Black is what you get when you combine all colors and white is the absence of color. So, in this reference, white would be a cool color and black would be a warm color but if color isn’t your thing then that’s okay.
