  3. Background & History • Founded in 2006 as an 8-week summer program. • 2008-2010 developed into a 6-month mentoring program for African American & Latina girls. • 2010 expanded services to serve the needs of diverse girls and the women around them. LCL Mentoring Program LCL Community Workshops

Under Utilized Communities Ethnic Communities throughout Chicago, Pilsen, Bronzeville, Lawndale, Englewood & Little Village. Minority Owned Businesses Businesses owned and/or operated by women (seeking women centered business opportunities) Businesses and organizations looking to implement strengths based-women focused professional development programs and training LCL Target Populations

LCL Socially responsible Entrepreneurship LCL’s InterCambio Program • InterCambio was designed to support women innovators in our communities who have demonstrated a commitment to addressing the needs of communities by building a sense of spirit and solidarity. Alejandra Rodriguez is a graduate of the LCL program who partnered with the InterCambio program to raise funds in support her goal to become Miss Illinois Latina 2010.
