Tips • The logo also links to the homepage • Never use more than 7 menu items • People don’t read a website, they scan pages • People scan mostly from left top to right bottom • If you have a text, remove half of it • Never start with “Welcome to our website” • Clear categories & subcategories • Help visitors finding out where they are (page titles, breadcrumb, tabs) • Make links look like links • Make more important content, more important • A picture says more than 1000 words
