  3. Our Athletic Philosophy • Trust- Trust your coaches’ decisions and trust your teammates. Have a personal commitment; what you are willing to put into the program is what you will get out of the program. Be unselfish and work to get better every day, not only as an athlete but also as a person. • Respect- Be respectful of everyone that has ownership in our program. This includes the Coaches, Athletes, School Staff, Administration and Community. As well, respect the three F’s. Fear, Fault, Failure. We as a TEAM will commit all of the above. We as a TEAM will overcome them by respecting them. • Responsibility- - Follow the athletic guidelines, school rules and local laws to the best of your ability. Do not allow others to bring you down! You and you alone are responsible for the outcomes of your actions.

  4. Expectations of Parents • The process of athletics is what is important, not just the end result of winning or losing. • Athletics exists as an integral part of the educational process and, as such, should promote the development of good citizenship, respect for rules and authority. • Opportunities for physical excellence and an understanding of the value of cooperation and competition through practice and interscholastic games. • Be supportive! • Support! No profanity!! Remember we can’t hear you, but your child can pick you out of 100 fans screaming at him! • Be encouraging! • No matter how the game turns out, 99% of the players will forget about the game 20 mins. after it is over. Don’t keep bringing up their mistakes! Find something positive they did and focus on that.
