God’s Purpose God John 10:10, “ I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” Rom 5:1, “…we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” I want to do it my way, not God’s way Since God planned for us to have peace and abundant life now, why do most people not have this experience?

  3. Man is Lost and without hope by himself Good works Our Problem: We are separated from God Yet man tries to be good enough, but he cannot undo the sins he has done.  And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, (Heb 9:27)  For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Rom 3:22-23)  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23) Rom 3:22-23 SIN ROM 6:23 DEATH Eph 2:9, “not of works lest any man should boast.” HEB 9:27 JUDGMENT Isa 59:2,“Your iniquities have separated you from your God…” Eternal Life Eternal Death

God’s Remedy CHRIST John 5:24 Rom 3:22-23 SIN ROM 6:23 DEATH HEB 9:27 JUDGMENT 1 Tim 2:5, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 3:18, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God…” Has Eternal Life (Present time) Will not be Condemned (Future time) Has crossed over from death to life (Past time) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (Joh 5:24) Eternal Death

Personal TRUST and COMMITMENT To CHRIST Our Response Invite Christ to enter Receive as Savior GOD But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: (John 1:12) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Rev 3:20) John 5:24 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life…” Rom 3:22-23 SIN ROM 6:23 DEATH HEB 9:27 JUDGMENT Eternal Death

How to Recieve Christ as your Savior • Is there any reason whyyou should not cross over to God’s side by faith and be certain of eternal life? • Admit your need (“I am an unworthy sinner”) • Be willing to turn from your sins and false belief in trying to earn eternal life. • Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross FOR YOU, and rose again to be your living Savior. • Tell Jesus in prayer that you want to invite Him into your life to live with you forever as your Lord and Savior.  5. Assurance of salvation is as secure as His Word. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (1Jo 5:13)
