    3. OBJECTIVES Provide an African business network framework Federate African FOSS companies to break through FOSS world market Constitute a lobby to influence the use of FOSS by national decisions makers and sensitize them on political, strategic and economic interests for African countries

    4. OBJECTIVES (ctd.) Enable information sharing among members specifically accounting, technical Promote FOSS in a collaborative manner Provide technical support across the continent to all organisation for FOSS migration and usage

ACTIVITIES Web forums on economic subjects Organization of a dedicated Business Forum each year during the annual African FOSS Meeting (RALL) next in MOROCCO -OCTOBER 2006 Involvement in workgroups for the promotion and the development of FOSS in Africa Participation in several international FOSS meetings, conferences and congresses to promote the African FOSS industry. CHALA is a member of FOSSFA council and Active member of AAUL Organization of specific workshops and events Training programme – experiences sharing
