Findings of Monitoring Institute Districts Covered: Chamoli, Rudraprayag & Bageshwar (April, 2012 to September, 2012 • Buffer stock of food grain was maintained in 45%,68% and 75% of visited schools in Chamoli, Rudrapryag and Chamoli. • No discrimination was noticed in the visited schools. • More than 80% schools were receiving Cooking Cost in advance. • Green vegetables are included in MDM occasionally. • 98% schools in Chamoli and Rudrapryag had pucca kitchen sheds. • Micronutrients distributed in about 50% schools.

  32. ISSUES Delay in payment of honorarium to CCH. Less coverage of children in Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar and Dehradun Less utilization of Transport Assistance Monthly data entries into the portal not completed. MDM not served in 8 schools for some days in Chamoli district due to non availability of food grain.
