  1. Signs Power Point Assignment • To do the following assignment you must have the signs worksheet to write your answers on. Write the letter in the upper left hand corner in the box of the corresponding sign. Lets GO!!!!!

  2. A.Low Clearance Sign The overpass ahead has a low clearance. Do not proceed if your vehicle is taller than the height indicated on the sign.

  3. B.HillA steep grade is ahead.

  4. C.Deer CrossingDeer regularly cross the highway in thisarea. Slow down and be ready to stop.

  5. D.CrossroadA four-way intersection is ahead. Watch for cross-traffic. Be ready to yield the right-of way.

  6. E.Right and Left CurvesThe road ahead curves right, then left.

  7. F.Winding RoadThe road ahead winds with a series of turns or curves.

  8. G. Right Curve (with safe speed indicator) The road ahead curves right. Slow down to the safe speed indicated.

  27. Z. Lane ReductionThe right lane ends soon. Drivers in theright lane must merge left when spaceopens up. Drivers in the left lane shouldallow other vehicles to merge smoothly.

  37. NN. Left Turn Yield on Green • This sign is used in combination with a traffic signal. It emphasizes that traffic turning left on the circular green light does not have the right-of-way and must yield to oncoming traffic.

  38. OO. Railroad Crossing This sign indicates that you are approaching a railroad crossing. Slow down, look and listen for trains.

  39. PP. Divided Highway Begins • The highway ahead is split into two separate roadways by a median or divider and each roadway is one-way. Keep right.

  40. QQ. Divided Highway Ends • The highway ahead becomes a single roadway with traffic going in both directions.Keep right

  41. RR Lane Use Control • This sign is used where turning movements are required. The left lane must turn left ahead.

  42. SS Channelizing Devises • This devise is used to safely guide drivers through work zones.

  43. TT Detour Sign • This sign indicates unusual or potentially dangerous conditions and guides drivers along a different route.
