The emergency car fot the Volunteer Water Rescue Service in Tczew • Grant title:The emergency car fot the Volunteer Water Rescue Service in Tczew Amount Requested: $7000 Location:Tczew Project:The goal is to provide the org with the emergency car, that would allow transportation of boats, people, and exuipment. As Tczew is located by the Poland’s biggest river, the lifeguards here are the most important part of the secure system of the town. The organisation has a long time history (exists in Poland since 1967), the noble tradition and great, very positive perception. It is 100% voluntary. The Tczew department closely cooperates with Flextronics on our most known program – The Safe Road. It supports the whole town nad villages around. How funding will be spent:The fundingwill cover most of the the costs of the car purchase. The car will be purchased in the tender. How many will benefit: The whole Tczew Branding/volunteer opportunities for Flextronics:great branding opprortunities, the organisation is very visible and with the positive perception. Our logo would be placed on the car, on some equipments and rescue vests. Also media response is expected. NOTE: The Volunteer Water Rescue Service in Tczew closely cooperates with Flextronics on our most known program – The Safe Road. They have never asked for (thus – not received) any payment for that. Very good relations with the org!
