General information • Staff: Mrs Davidson, Mr Beamish, Miss Jones, Mrs Mancer • Meeting place: MFL8 each morning at 8.25 • Departure times: 8.30-9 • Arrival times: 2.50; 6pm on Thursday • Technology: phones, personal music players, cameras • Requirements: walking boots, waterproof, sun cream and sun hat, packed lunch (not Thursday), pocket money (Harry Potter Exhibition, Saffron Walden shopping, Cambridge shopping, Tower Bridge Experience, Barton shop, ice creams)

  3. Itinerary • Monday: Watford • Tuesday: Saffron Walden • Wednesday: Cambridge • Thursday: London • Friday: Grantchester • 8.25-2.50 • 8.25-2.50 • 8.25-2.50 • 8.25-6.00 • 8.25-2.50

  4. Monday: Watford • Coach to Watford at 8.30am • Bring snack for coach • Camera • Tour: 11-1pm • Pocket money: gift shop (£20 for a wand!) • Packed lunch on coach home • Coach to CVC at 1.15pm • School buses home

  5. Tuesday: Saffron Walden • Coach to Saffron Walden at 8.45am • St. Mary’s Church • Bridge End Garden • Scavenger hunt • Free time • Packed lunch • Pocket money: market, shopping • Coach to school: 1.45pm • School buses home

  6. Wednesday: Cambridge • Walk to Cambridge: 8.30-10.30am • Visit Barton shop • Early picnic lunch in Newnham • Scott Polar Research Institute at 11.30am • Grand Arcade: 1-2pm • Pocket money: shop, ice cream, town shopping • Boots and waterproof • Coach to school: 2pm • School buses home

  7. Thursday: London • Coach to London: 8.45am • Tower Bridge Experience: 11-12.30pm • Walk down South Bank • Pizza lunch (included): 1-2pm • London Eye: 3pm • Camera • Pocket money: gift shop, ice cream • Coach to CVC: 4.10pm • Please pick up at 6pm

  8. Friday: Grantchester • Walk to Grantchester: 9am • Stop at Barton shop • Tour meadows and eat picnic lunch • Find out about Rupert Brooke • Enjoy cake and a drink in the tea rooms (included): 12-1pm • Coach to school: 2.15pm • Home on school buses
