  1. God/Hero/Myth Hades Oedipus Persephone

  2. Hades Hades is the son of Titans Cronus and Rhea and brother of Zeus, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera and Demeter. Greek God of Wealth and Underworld, also known as Lord of the dead. He, as well as his siblings were swallowed by their father but later saved by Zeus. All together they forced the Titan Gods from Heaven down into the pit of Tartaros. Hades, now being God of the Underworld, he suggested to Zeus about finding him a wife. When Zeus offered Hades Persephone, he knew that she would refuse too marry him and spend eternity in the Underworld with him. Hades abducted Persephone and brought her back to the Underworld with him. 

  3. Oedipus  Oedipus was the son of the King Laius and the Queen Jocasta of Thebes. A curse on Laius told that any son born would kill him. When Jocasta had a son with King Laius the child's feet were pierced and he was left to bleed to death. But a sheperd found Oedipus and took him to King Polybus of Cornith. He then adopted Oedipus and named him after "swelled foot".As Oedipus got older he met an Orcale, who told him he was destined to kill his father and marry his mother. Oedipus was scared too hurt Polybus so he left the kingdom.  While he was travelling he came across Laius, him and his men were very rude to him. Oedipus then killed Laius and all his men with him. Coming across Thebes, the people were very bothered by Laius' death, done by a monster, a Sphinx. Oedipus then full filling his destiny took the thrown of Thebes and married his mother, Jocasta. 

  4. Persephone  Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. While Persephone was gathering flowers one day she was abducted by Hades, God of the Underworld. After Demeter searched for her daughter and discovered that she was abducted by Hades, Demeter complained to Zeus about getting their daughter back. Zeus refused to intervene, so Demeter withdrew her role as a goddess. Eventually Zeus intervened and said that Hades had to let Persephone back with her mother.  While in the Underworld Hades tricked Persephone to eat 4 pomegranate seeds, to eat a fruit given by your captor means you must return to them. Since Persephone ate the pomegranate seed she has to spend one third of each year in the Underworld as Hades wife.
