  6. Environmental Responsibility • Total environmental investment is RMB 4.3 billion, 22.6% of the total investment. • RMB 68 million was invested for the Urban Sewage Reuse Project. Over 10 million m3 water is saved per year. • Covers were made on the effluent treatment plant to minimize the odor. • Carbon Emission verification by Government.

Proactive Support of Local Community • EducationPromotion • Support local schools for teachers’ ability enhancement and empowerment, scholarship. • Over 30 schools and 70,000+ teachers and students benefit from the support in 2017. • “Yuanmeng Program”, a vocational education program targeting students from disadvantage families. Students are sponsored both free university education as well as job opportunities in Asia Symbol after graduation.

  8. Proactive Support of Local Community • Community environmental education • Mill is publicly open and regarded as an environmental education base. It has been visited by more than 120,000 people in 6,000 groups. More and more people have been promoting their environmental awareness via visits and environmental education.

  9. Proactive Support of Local Community • Community environmental education • The employee volunteers provide the environmental education services for the communities, especially the kids. The CSR projects related to environmental education have been presented, such as the project of “I am a little paper maker”, which can teach kids to save paper and has benefited more than 4,000students. This project was featured in the 2015 Outstanding Casebook of Chinese Foreign Invested Enterprises to Fulfill Social Responsibility,

Proactive Support of Local Community • Social Donation • RMB 36 million has been donated for the city library, make it the most popular library in Shandong province. 10,000+ citizens visit the library daily. • Donation for building schools. • Donate books to citizens. • Community SMEs • 200+ community small and medium enterprises empowerment via the pulp and paper value chain.
