  4. Fibers (Natural vs. Synthetic)Natural Fibers come from animals and plants such as wool and cotton.Synthetic Fibers are man-made and under a microscope they have a uniformed shape.

  5. Glass, soil, and paint are made from various combinations and concentrations of substances. These various concentrations can determine the origin of the material.

  6. Chromatography is a method used by investigators to separate mixtures.
