Extra Credit Procedures Level of government: national state Total of 5 articles 3 articles over United States national government 2 article over Texas state government, Taylor County or Abilene local government Each individual article must be attached to its information page. You will turn in 5 articles and 5 information pages.

  3. Extra Credit Procedures Articles must come from a published newspaper. NO ARTICLES FROM THE INTERNET OR MAGAZINES WILL BE ACCEPTED. If you don’t have access to a newspaper at home, the school library subscribes to the Abilene Reporter News and USA Today. Multiple copies are available for you to use. You just need to ask one of the librarians. Articles should be no more than two weeks old.

Extra Credit Procedures Due before the tardy bell on Monday, January 18 for 5 pointsadded to your final 4thsix weeks average It must be given to me before the tardy bell—not turned in to the tray. The assignment may be either hand written or typed. But regardless of how it is done,information labels must be provided. No labels, no credit.

  5. Extra Credit Procedures With each passing week the point value of the extra credit decreases by one point. Extra credit is worth 4 points until the tardy bell on January 25. After the tardy bell on 1-25 the point value decreases and is then only worth 3 points until the tardy bell on February 1. It is worth no points after 2-1. Extra credit may be turned in at any time before the due date for its current value. If you want to check with me before turning it in to make sure you’ve done it correctly, please do.

The move would save money and keep service men and women closer to their families. In this speech at the VFW annual convention, President Bush also addressed how his administration has helped veterans through increased funding of the Veterans Administration. He additionally used the occasion to defend the war in Iraq.
