  7. Orientation - Partnership Guidelines • Partnerships exist to advance the work of the Church of the Nazarene. ) • Partners come along side field leadership (in our case the APNTS President and Staff) to help them accomplish dreams that would not otherwise be possible. They offer time, talents, treasure, encouragement, networking and prayers. ) • Partners should not divert giving from the local church, district, regional or general interests. By the grace of God, partners give in addition to the commitments essential in the life of the church. ) APNTS Partnership Meeting

  8. Orientation - Partnership Guidelines • Partnerships exist in support of mission strategy. ) • Each partnership should have clear and specific objectives. Priority needs should be listed and updated. Prayer support, funding and human resources are directed toward these priorities. • The partnerships have an ethical standard of operating that discourages the recruiting of individuals from one partnership into another. • Each partnership should develop a core leadership group (directed by the managing partner), that serves to coordinate its activities with the field. ) APNTS Partnership Meeting

  9. Orientation - Partnership Guidelines • Potential partners are encouraged to participate in orientation prior to becoming vested in any partnership. • A commitment of 36 months minimum is suggested for all those participating in partnerships. ) • Partnerships should be reviewed periodically to determine their effectiveness. ) Prepared by Russ Bredholt and Merritt Mann - January, Approved by World Mission - January, APNTS Partnership Meeting
