  1. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos - Beautiful, Rare and Almost Quiet

  2. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos are an Australian native bird that flies around the eastern and northern tropical coasts of Australia. • These can be found in Timor-Leste and Indonesia's islands of Bali, Timor, Sulawesi and Lesser Sunda Islands also. • They are 34cm long. Their body is white.

  3. The Cockatoo can be considered a large bird with a body length from between 40 to 50 cms. • There is a mark on their cheeks and underneath their wings and tail. Sulphur-crested Cockatoos are affectionate and friendly. • Although they have the tendency to become a one-person pet, they make excellent companions.

  4. They are more independent than most cockatoo species and are very intelligent. • Sulphurs are adorable, entertaining companion pets that require a lot of care. • They thrive on attention and love to entertain and dance.

  5. The Cockatoo beak is very powerful which is large, curved and pointed downwards, and is strong enough to crack open nuts and kernels. • They have their tongues edged with a brushy fringe for lapping up nectar and fruit juices.

  6. They love to eat seeds. • They like eucalyptus, wattles and hawthorns the best. • They also eat berries, fruit nuts, insects and insect larvae.

Age of the Building Always remember that the newer is always better and easier to resell. • Sulphur Crested Cockatoo requires a lot of mental stimulation through plenty of toys and items because most of cockatoos are prone to boredom which may lead to feather plucking. • Their proper attention and training is just as important as food and water because lack of social interaction can lead to neurotic behaviors such as biting, and screaming.

  8. It loves to shred things so some soft tree branches or toys should be given to it so that it didn’t get bored. • If it is not happy it will most definitely let you know by its actions. • They are intelligent companions who are inquisitive and affectionate, and have quite distinct, unique

  9. They are hardy birds and remain generally healthy with good care. • But even with the best of care, they can sometimes become ill. • Any changes in normal behavior, eating and sleeping patterns, or discharge from eyes or nose are in indication that there is a problem.
