Macaw is a large tropical American parrot with a long tail harsh voice and brilliant plumage. • In this article we will focus and give consideration to one kind of macaw’s i.e., Green wing macaw. These macaws are beautiful giant birds that originate from South America. • Its scientific name is AraChloroptera which means ara for strong, chloro for green and ptera for wing. • The Green Wing is one of the most colorful Macaws. They are often look like other macaws except for the fact that green wing macaws have green bands on their wings rather than yellow and it has its own uniqueness.

  3. They are second only in size to the Hyacinth Macaw. They can grow anything from 30 to 35 inches in length at maturity. • Green Wing Macaw is social and flock birds that mate for life.
