  3. What is a health disparity? • Differences In • incidence, prevalence, mortality, and burden of diseases and other adverse health conditions that exist among specific population groups

  4. Cause and development of disparity • Neighborhood/community • Exposure to dust and gases has similarly been associated with respiratory symptoms and COPD • Socioeconomic status • Genetics
