  2. A Memoir is… • A memoir is a form of autobiographical writing in which a person recalls important events in his or her life. Although basically personal, a memoir may deal with events that have significance beyond the writer’s individual life.

  3. Home • Home is an example of a memoir because the author doesn’t talk about her whole life, but only a part. Julie Andrews talks about her life from when she was a child to when she got hired by Disney to be Mary Poppins.

  4. Keep the Faith • Keep the Faith is an example of a memoir because it is about a time in Faith Evans life after her husband died and she had to move on. She remarried, had children, and continued to record and release music.
