  1. ILC-TPC panel + T2K electronics D. Attié, P. Colas, M. Dixit, M. Riallot, Y.-H. Shin RD51 Mini Week - CERN Astrophysics Detector Workshop – Nice – November 18th, 2008

  2. Micromegas + T2K electronics in LP1 TPC RD51 Mini Week – CERN – September 24, 2009

  3. Data taking diagram Goliath magnet Beam trigger Vdrift =1 kV CAEN 471A (NIM) SHV cables Vmesh = 380 V T2K electronics 1728 channels Back-end electronic (ML405) Optical fibre Lemo LV-TTL TCP/IP via ethenet LV (+5 V) PC T2K DAQ on Linux T2K gas (5L/h) 500 Go Standard PC Power supply HDD Hall Control room RD51 Mini Week – CERN – September 24, 2009

  5. Detector description 2/2 • Total weight: ~20 kg • Radiation length: 40% (2×1.8 cm of aluminium) B field Top 27 cm 40 cm Bottom 35cm 11 cm RD51 Mini Week – CERN – September 24, 2009

  6. Requests and status of the beam tests • Magnet: most of the time • Particles: 2-3 days muons , if possible. 50-100 Hz sufficient (limited by DAQ rate). The rest can be hadrons, from low to very high rates • Precision tracking and behaviour of the resistive coverlay. • We need to scan the detector (move frequently) for homogeneity studies. Most data to be taken with T2K gas (ArCF4Iso) but would be nice if a part can be Ar+5%Iso • Need to install the box on a small lift table and secure it • Optical fiber, SHV, gas cable already installed • We also plan to contribute to the RESIST test organized by S. Aune and F. Kunne next to our setup in the magnet RD51 Mini Week – CERN – September 24, 2009
