Table Discussion: Reports Scenario: The X Factor • During the current Rotary year, the Foxcroft, Missouri Rotary club has been inspired to contribute to the Rotary Foundation’s Polio Plus campaign • Next year’s club President, Peter Sanders, is concerned that club members won’t contribute at the same levels How can Peter build on the 2012-2013 Rotary year momentum to encourage contributions next year? Table Discussion: Reports Scenario: Think Local, Act Local • Janet Gregg is President Elect of The Rotary Club of Centerville and wants to get her members engaged with Rotary Foundation programs • The club does exceptional service in the community and contributions to the Rotary Foundation are less than $10 per member. • When asked to support Rotary Foundation programs, the long-time members say, ”we have needs in our community and that is who we serve.” What three Foundation priorities would you suggest to Janet for 2013-2014?   18. Table Discussion: Reports Scenario: United We Stand • The 60 year old Bloomsberg Rotary club has aggressively recruited younger members and now 45 of its 108 members are under the age of 40. President Elect Jon Glasser is one of them. • The club’s Past Presidents are encouraging Jon to achieve EREY during his Presidency. Most of the younger club members, including Jon, have never contributed $100 per year to the Rotary Foundation. If you were a Past President, what would you suggest to Jon?
