Director Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (0.5FTE) • through the development of internal and external networks, including School Directors of Research and Enterprise to facilitate increased research income from, and sustained relationships with, business, industry and government • to act as champion for enterprise-lead research and entrepreneurship within the university, including support for training of Directors of Enterprise, early career researchers and Postgraduate Research Students • to ensure that strong external research networks help facilitate use of our specialist services (including CPD and consultancy) and potential employers of our students by enabling links with the appropriate support services and academic departments within the university.

  3. University Enterprise Strategy • Supporting research excellence- collaborative grants and contracts, KTP, case PGRs, technology transfer, knowledge exchange (expert committees, governing bodies, supporting development policy) • Enriching student experience- employer engagement, placements, speakers/ contributors to teaching, advisory boards, entrepreneurship • Providing high quality services- CPD, consultancy, school based companies, specialist facilities (MRI scanner, CAF) • User and community engagement- stakeholders,schools, community, museums, collections, gardens
