What do Biomedical Engineering Technicians do? • Biomedical engineering technicians (BMETs) are electronics engineering technicians who work in hospitals and medical research centers to: • Evaluate new equipment • Perform preventive maintenance • Perform corrective maintenance • Perform equipment calibration • Administer electrical safety tests

  3. What do Biomedical Engineering Technicians do? • BMETs also work in the biomedical instrumentationindustry as: • technicians • service representatives • sales consultants
