  13. Player Contract • Stephen Decatur High School • Golf Team Player Contract • Any behavior detrimental to yourself, your family, your school, and the program is grounds for disciplinary action. Disciplinary action will include (but not limited to); loss of privilege to dress for games, removal from team, and any administrative action deemed necessary. • Every member of the golf team is expected to abide by the following: • Work on improving their game by practicing and learning the rules of golf. • Abide by the rules of golf set forth by the USGA • Provide their own equipment and maintain in good working order. (keep clubs clean) • Complete every match, qualifying round, or practice round. Quitters will not be tolerated. • Wear the appropriate uniform at all matches (team shirt, khaki pants, soft spikes). • No deliberate cheating will be tolerated. • Respect all playing facilities, their employees, and other golfers on the course. • Attend all golf team scheduled/announced events and report on time. • Respect all high school golfers, their coaches, and scorers. • Repair ball marks, replace divots, pick up trash to leave the course in better shape than you found it. • Keep all playing partner’s scores. Every scorecard should have all players scores totaled. • Swearing, throwing clubs, or any other forms of poor sportsmanship/bad attitudes will NOT be tolerated. Immediate dismissal from team may result without warning. • IF A PLAYER GETS AN OFFICE REFERRAL REGARDLESS IF IT’S FOR A BEHAVIOR PROBLEM OR LATENESSES TO CLASS – YOU MAY BE DISMISSED FROM THE TEAM. • Transportation vehicles will be left cleaner than we found them. • Player’s conduct in the parking lot, driving range, course, and clubhouse are a reflection of Stephen Decatur High School. You will conduct yourself with maturity, consideration, and with dignity. • Absolutely no drug, alcohol, or tobacco use tolerated. Strong rumors qualify for guilt. Getting caught outside of school will be weighed the same as getting caught during school. • I understand the expectations outlined above and acknowledge that failure to abide by these rules and regulations may result in suspensions or dismissal from the team without warning. • _______________________________ ______________ ____________________________ _____________ • player’s signature date Parent’s signature date
