  2. JOB SUMMARY The Head of Allied Health Professionals will be responsible for professional leadership of AHP services across the Western Health and Social Care Trust area. These include Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Orthoptics, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language therapy. He/she will also be responsible for the operational management of professional AHP Leads. The Head of Allied Health Professionals will be a member of the Primary Care and Older People’s services directorate senior management and governance teams. He/she will bring an AHP perspective to the teams to deliver services in line with its corporate agenda and government targets.
