  3. Starfish’s predators and prey • A starfish’s predators are Crabs, fish and worms • A starfish’s prey are Coral, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, sponges, mussels, oysters, snails, chitons and worms

  4. Do starfish reproduce? • Starfish release eggs and sperm from reproductive organisms in there arms

  5. How big do starfish get? • A starfish can grow up to 3ft and 2.5 centimeters long

  6. How much can a starfish weigh? • A starfish can weigh up to 1 pound

  7. How many species are there? • One source says that there’s 1,500 species of starfish and a another source says there’s 2,000 species of starfish

  8. Fun Facts • A starfish can have more than 40 arms • Starfish don’t have a brain • Most starfish can live up to 3 to 5 years old
